FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions.

What is systems integration?

Systems integration is making separate software platforms exchange data automatically through the interfaces they already provide, so information entered once reaches every system that needs it without manual re-entry.

Which platforms can you integrate with?

Any platform with an API, a published file format or database access. This covers most ERP, accounting, e-commerce and payment systems. Where no interface exists, scheduled file exchange or database views are the usual routes.

Will integration break when a vendor updates their software?

Not when it is built against supported, published interfaces, which is our approach. Integrations built against internal structures are the ones that fail on upgrade.

Is integration cheaper than replacing our systems?

Generally yes, and at lower risk. Integration works at the boundary between systems, so it can be delivered incrementally and reversed. A replacement is a full migration, with the cost and disruption that involves.
